Terms of use

These terms of use govern your access to and use of the CNC Software website and related enquiry services. By using this site, you agree to these terms as well as any applicable South African law.

1. Acceptance of these terms

This website is operated by Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd on behalf of CNC Software, a Centurion based supplier of CAD/CAM software licences, custom post-processors and CNC training services for shops across South Africa. Use of the site means you accept these terms in full. If you do not agree, you must stop using the site and any enquiry functions immediately.

These terms apply to all visitors, whether you are looking for licence installation, post tuning, machine onboarding, operator training, programmer training or support for routing, milling, turning and plasma environments.

2. Permitted use of the website

You may use this website to learn about CNC Software services, submit an enquiry, and request contact through the form provided on the contact page. You must use the site lawfully and must not do anything that may harm the site, its users, or the systems used to operate it.

  • Do not attempt unauthorised access to the site or any connected system.
  • You may not copy, scrape or republish any content from this site without written permission.
  • Do not submit false, misleading or incomplete information in any form.
  • Do not introduce code, malware or anything that may interrupt service.

3. Information, content and technical accuracy

The information on this website is provided for general guidance about our CAD/CAM software licences, post-processors, training and support services. While we take care to keep content current, it may change without notice and may not always reflect the latest product release, machine setting or support arrangement.

Figures, service descriptions, timings and compatibility notes are indicative only. Before any purchase or implementation, you should confirm requirements for your machine, post-processor, licence type and workshop workflow. Small site errors can happen, so please treat published content as a starting point rather than a final specification.

4. Quotations, services and client responsibilities

Any quotation, proposal or scope of work for custom post-processors, training or remote troubleshooting is subject to review and written acceptance. Delivery dates, training dates and support arrangements depend on workload, access to the machine and the information supplied by the client.

  • You are responsible for providing accurate machine details, control information and software requirements.
  • You must ensure safe access to equipment, backup files and any required permissions.
  • You remain responsible for production decisions, machine operation and final sign-off on output.
  • Training outcomes depend on the readiness of your staff and the condition of your setup.

Where a first job support session is arranged, the purpose is to assist with setup and confidence on the machine, not to replace your own operational controls.

5. Intellectual property and material on this site

All text, layouts, service descriptions, graphics and other material on this website are owned by or licensed to CNC Software or Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd unless stated otherwise. You may view the material for normal browsing, but you may not reproduce, adapt, publish or distribute it without prior written consent.

Names, titles and descriptions of team members, such as applications engineering, post-processor work, training coordination and technical support, are provided for identification and service purposes only. No implied licence is granted to use the material in any other way.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by South African law, CNC Software, Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd and their personnel will not be liable for indirect loss, loss of profit, loss of production, data loss or downtime arising from use of this website or reliance on the information published here.

Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot legally be limited. However, any use of software, post-processors or implementation advice remains the responsibility of the client to test in a safe environment before running live work. Always verify toolpaths, offsets and machine settings before production.

7. Governing law and contact through the enquiry form

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute relating to this website or the use of its enquiry services will be dealt with in accordance with South African law and the appropriate forum or process available at the time.

If you need to ask about licence installation, annual support plans, workflow audits or on-site training in Pretoria, Johannesburg, Vereeniging, Durban, Cape Town or elsewhere in South Africa, please use the enquiry form on the contact page. We will respond through the details you provide there.
