Why people join our team
We work with machine shops that need dependable CAD/CAM support, clear instructions and quick turnaround when production is waiting. That means the work is varied, technical and very hands-on, from setup jobs in Centurion to troubleshooting on-site in Pretoria, Durban or Johannesburg.
Our team is small enough that your work matters straight away, and structured enough that you know who to speak to when a customer needs help. Pieter Johannes van der Merwe leads the business, and the team includes applications, implementation, support and training roles that keep the day moving.
Roles we hire for
We do not keep a public vacancy list with fixed dates. Instead, we look for people who can fit into practical roles as the workload grows across licence delivery, machine onboarding, post tuning and operator support.
- Applications Engineer for software setup, workflow advice and customer calls
- Post-Processor Specialist for machine formats, code changes and testing
- Training Coordinator for booking, scheduling and course follow-up
- Technical Support Lead or Technician for remote troubleshooting and on-site support
- Customer Success role for renewals, annual support plans and client follow-through
What the work involves day to day
The work is varied because no two shops run the same. One morning you may be helping with licence installation, then later checking a post-processor for a router running sheets in MDF, and after that joining a remote session for a turning shop that needs first job support.
We also work with training that is practical and direct. That can include operator training, programmer training, owner training and workflow audits, so people joining the team need to explain things clearly and keep calm when a machine is down or a batch is overdue.
Skills that help you fit in here
You do not need to know everything on day one, but you do need to be willing to learn properly and ask good questions. A background in CNC, manufacturing, automation, engineering support or technical training is helpful. So is a steady manner when clients are under pressure.
- Good technical understanding and problem solving
- Clear written and spoken communication
- Comfort with on-site work and remote support
- Attention to detail with machine settings, tool libraries and code output
- Ability to work with local clients across different provinces and time pressures
We serve shops dealing with real production issues, including load-shedding, late shifts and tight deadlines. A practical approach matters more than fancy talk, and if you can explain a fix in plain English, that helps a lot.
Training and growth inside the company
We support new team members with product knowledge, process training and exposure to real client jobs. You will learn how our CAD/CAM licences are installed, how custom post-processors are tuned, and how support plans are handled after the initial setup.
Growth here is usually hands-on. People move from assisting on remote calls to handling more complex installations, then into deeper project work across routing, milling, turning or plasma. A willingness to keep learning makes a real difference, especially when software updates and machine variations keep changing the work.
How to apply
If you want to join us, send your CV through the enquiry form on our contact page and tell us which role suits your background. Include your location, any CNC or software experience, and whether you are looking for technical support, training, onboarding or post-processor work.
We review applications as they come in. If your background matches what we need, we will get back to you for the next step. Please keep your details current and make sure your CV shows the kind of work you have done before, even if it was in a factory, workshop or service environment.
